A modern take on history

This was a contemporary restoration of a magnificent Grade II listed building. Headspace aims to provide unique, inspiring office space, and we worked closely with them and their landlord in the design stages to incorporate both party’s needs. 

One challenge we had to overcome was accommodating mechanical services with no outer space available for housing equipment, while ensuring we didn’t contravene the listing. We also painstakingly repaired and replaced detailed historic cornicing.

The Albert Square projects

We won this project off the back of one of three projects that we ran in parallel for LJ Partnership in Manchester’s Albert Square. After stripping out each building, we moved on to CAT A works. Headspace then appointed us to carry out CAT B works at 2 Mount Street.



Spacescape carried out a comprehensive refurbishment of our historically prominent building in Central Manchester to a high standard and have been reactive to any snagging going above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction is at the forefront of its work at all times.
